My concrete love storyThe heart carved in the sidewalk said "I love you".My concrete love story
And this sentiment in concrete held the semblance of forever,
It will not be altered until it is destroyed.
The hand that wrote it could be gripping a switchblade,
bringing pain to the surface of a tortured abyss.
It could be washing a sinkfull of dishes on a tired evening,
with the long shadows of lightpoles stretching across the lawn.
Or it could be holding the hand of You, the You etched into concrete,
The You i read about every day and know nothing of,
except that somewher
